YouthBuild Louisville Manages Tasks with OnePlace

Posted by Dana Larson on July 02, 2010

YouthBuild LouisvilleWe love helping those who help others, and our Giving Back program keeps expanding because of it! At OnePlace, we are proud to announce the addition of another deserving non-profit organization into our Giving Back program.

YouthBuild Louisville is an exciting youth and community development program in Louisville, Kentucky. This nationally recognized program provides opportunities for youth to build homes for low-income people. YouthBuild aides unemployed and undereducated young people, ages 16 to 24, build affordable housing for homeless and low-income families in their own communities. They split their time between the construction site and the classroom, where they earn their GED or high school diploma, learn to be community leaders, and prepare for jobs or college.

Their mission is to capitalize on the positive energy of young adults by helping them rebuild their communities and their own lives with a commitment to work, education, responsibility, and family.

YouthBuild Louisville will be using OnePlace to help manage their projects as it is a simple to use tool and they don’t need a strong IT department to manage its back end operations. They hope to get the entire team using the tool soon.

If you’d like your business or organization to become more organized and connected, sign up for our 14-day free trial and give OnePlace a try!
