Online Project Management Empowers Employees to Succeed
Posted by Dana Larson on February 04, 2010
When we developed OnePlace a few years ago, we wanted to ensure our solution met the needs of small businesses to increase their business success. One need we saw over and over again was the need for project management within the business.
Online project management allows you and your business team to organize and manage projects and tasks in an efficient and effective way. Keeping track of projects across multiple team members can be a bit challenging without the aid of an online solution. We kept all this in mind when developing OnePlace.
Our project management system is organized hierarchically, allowing for the management of complex projects if needed. Workplaces can be created as the over-arching goal or concept within the organization, and projects are kept under them. Then, within the project, tasks are created and assigned to teammates to complete.
These are just the basics of our complex project management system for small businesses. We also allow individuals to schedule tasks based on when they want to work on them and when they are due. This empowers the individual in your business to take charge of their day and feel happier about being in control of their schedules.
We also offer time tracking of tasks, so your employees know how much they are spending on tasks, and how long an overall project has taken to complete. And our reporting feature gives a simple dashboard report of the status of a project or workplace.
There are many pieces to our project management solution for small businesses, but when you implement it, there isn’t one feature you won’t use. We developed our solution based on improving the individual’s success first, and ensuring that success can improve the business as well.
You can try OnePlace free for 30 days and discover how project management can empower your people and help your business succeed.

Good day, I have read your blogs and your software interests me. BTW, how is it when compared to other project management collaboration tools? Currently, my company is using Basecamp and so far it is working great and sweet! We are looking for another one that has a feature of Time management software as well as online document storage.
