OnePlace Upgrade

Posted by Denis Ahearn on July 08, 2009

We upgraded OnePlace tonight (7/7/09). We ran into an unexpected issue during the upgrade that caused the maintenance window to be about 2 hours longer than we planned. Everything is back up and running, and no data was lost. We sincerely apologize to anyone who was affected by the outage.

This upgrade contains a number of smaller enhancements, changes and bug fixes. The highlights of this upgrade are listed below.

  • Improved Project Report - We added filters to the Project report for controlling which tasks are included in the report. We also fixed issues with long project and tasks titles getting cut off.

  • You can now group the notes in your Inbasket by the type of note (user messages, task notifications, project notifications, etc.). This is a handy way to keep things straight if you tend to keep a lot of notes in your Inbasket.

  • The Files and Notes tabs for a project now support the ability to show all files/notes within sub-projects AND tasks within the project. This makes it much easier to locate files and notes that you've attached to tasks.

  • Auto-pulses (pulses created by OnePlace when you change your status or start/stop a task) are now automatically deleted after they are older than 24 hours.

Thanks to everyone who has provided us with feedback. Many of the changes in this upgrade were suggested by our customers.
