Software as a SERVICE

Posted by Steve Kickert on June 15, 2009

I just read an article that was published on the Sandhill.com blog that I thought was so close to our view of SaaS that I thought I would share it with you.

Lincoln Murphy, of Sixteen Ventures has a post titled "SaaS Vendors: Stop Thinking Like Software Companies!" that outlines how the typical SaaS vendor needs to stop thinking about their product as software but as a service instead. For the very reasons he points out in his post, we have avoided the use of releases and version numbers in OnePlace. This "service" mindset is also the reason that we feel it is crucial to be responsive to customer feedback.

I hope you enjoy the article as much as I did.
