Apple does it again

Posted by Steve Kickert on March 11, 2009

I have to admit, I am an Apple fanboy. I am not ashamed of it. I think they have earned it, IMHO. When my love starts to diminish a bit they come out with something that is so cool that I have to tell everyone I know about.

So, have you seen the new iPod Shuffle? I could not believe that they were able to fit something useful into such a small package. It I have thought about getting one for exercising but could not get over the fact that there is NO screen. It has 4Gig of space for music. That is a ton of music. How the heck do you make sense of it. Then along comes Apple. They are always one step ahead of me. With this new iPod Shuffle they solved the 'lack of screen' problem. They added VoiceOver. Now your Shuffle talks to you. This is better than a screen if you are using it on-the- go. If the experience is as good as the demos on their website, I would say they have another hit on their hands.
Good 'Job' Apple!
This sort of intuitive design is something we strive for in OnePlace.
