OnePlace Upgrade

Posted by Steve Kickert on August 25, 2008

Greetings,

OnePlace was recently upgraded with some new features, enhancements to existing features, and bug fixes. Listed below are some of the highlights of this upgrade. For a complete listing of all changes in this upgrade, please visit the Recent Changes section of the OnePlace Help

  • Time Tracking - We've enhanced the ability to track time on tasks so that you can now apply multiple time entries to a single task, even for different days. Perhaps the most noticeable change due to this enhancement is that when you now mark a task as completed (by either checking off the task's checkbox, or clicking the "Finish" button in the Task Details view), a new Time Tracking dialog will appear. This is where you now enter the time it took you to complete the task. You can learn more about how the new time tracking feature works here.

  • Email Integration - We recognize that in order to maximize your productivity, OnePlace needs to work with the tools you use in everyday life. The new Email Integration feature is a step in that direction. OnePlace now allows you to choose whether to receive system notifications via email or your inbasket (or both). OnePlace also now allows you to email your inbasket. This is useful to get information into OnePlace which you can then process in different ways (create tasks from it, archive it, etc.). To learn more about the new email integration feature here.
