OnePlace + Mobile = Time Saver

One of the big benefits of using OnePlace on my iPhone, is how it allows me to quickly get up to speed in the morning on my commute to work, so that when I walk into the office, I'm already current with what's happened since the day before. This has been a huge time saver for me, because I don't need to spend any more time going through my email, unread discussions, inbasket items or team pulses before starting my work for the day. I'm up-to-date and ready to get things done.
Now, perhaps you're wondering how I do this on my drive, am I one of those crazy people with one eye on the road and one eye on my iPhone? Well, I'd be lying if I said that I don't occasionally sneak a peek at OnePlace while cruising down the highway. But, I try to limit that kind of thing to when I'm sailing down a non-busy highway with good visibility. I do however have five stoplights on my drive, and they're never all green for me. So, I use the time I spend sitting in traffic to get caught up in the morning. I also have a stop I make each morning, which offers me a little more time to glean some info from my mobile OnePlace.
So, if you haven't already, I encourage you to take a look at the iPhone and mobile versions of OnePlace, and start saving time in your personal life as well. If you share your commute with other drivers, or perhaps you use public transportation to get to work, these are perfect opportunities for you to gain the same benefits that I do. All you need is a mobile device with an Internet data plan and you're all set!
